One of the most important celebrations observed by all Balinese is GALUNGAN on 20 August 2008 . Celebrated with rituals and festivities, it is the time to rejoice in the triumph of virtue (dharma) over evil (adharma). KUNINGAN on 30 August 2008 is the last celebration of Galungan when special rituals are held for ancestral spirits.
